Karan Sood

Karan Sood is a results-oriented Manager with extensive experience in the non-profit sector, specializing in strategic planning, team management, and business growth. Known for his high ethical standards and innovative problem-solving abilities, he has made significant contributions in leadership roles, including President (Board of Directors) at Semiahmoo Family Place and Manager of Facilities and Office Services at DIVERSEcity Community Resource Society and various other organizations before. He excels in advocating for organizations, developing policies, managing budgets, ensuring compliance and sustainability, and fostering community relationships.

Karan holds an MBA specializing in Non-Profit Management from Trinity Western University, an M.Sc. in IT Management from the University of Sunderland (UK), and a BCom from Punjab University (India). Fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, and certified in CPR-A Level 1 First Aid + AED, OHS Level 1 & 2, NVCI, Change Management and Grant Seeking, Karan is dedicated to achieving organizational goals and enhancing leadership in the non-profit sector.
